Floriade? Identification help, please!
« on: February 27, 2006, 11:47:08 PM »
Hi everybody.

I've been trying to identify this series of vases for a few years, and this week I found one with a label! Goody!!

http://www.hogelandshoeve.nl/30%20glass/main3.html

(It's the design pictured third and forth from the left!)

As luck would have it I can't trace the name yet, and in fact I'm not sure I can even read it with certainty.
so please see if you can help me.

It's a round embossed silver metallic label and appears to say 'Floriade' in script within a wreath border.
It could be 'Floriola', perhaps?
There's no way to capture anything meaningful on the camera.

I was expecting to find it in my vast collection of Boom factory labels, but it's not there!

Most likely another retail label from a florist.

It is of course a possibility, but one hopes for a clue!

It looks like the sort of label Rimac used (mettalic foil-embossed). But even if I can associate another piece with the same label, it would be a small step in the research!
