Strathearn?
« on: October 13, 2011, 11:49:02 AM »
Bought this and 90% sure its a strathearn - scattered canes on white muslin - polished base - just to confirm it is as I think

Thanks Adam

Hi Adam,
Definitely Strathearn and a very nice weight, it may be worth keeping your eyes open for the magnum version of this weight although they don't come up very often. here is a photo of mine which is 3 5/8" diameter with S and 70 canes.  I don't know if it is well recorded but Strathearn did make some of these magnums with a cat silhouette cane

I brought 6 strathearn door handles this week, 2 of which are this design.  Always liked this design and undervalued I think :)
