Although I bought this as a Whitefriars piece I strongly suspect it is in fact a Caithness Vase type 4033.
Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Yup, Caithness. They have that moulded base, wfs are polished flat, I think. I also think Caithness are responsible for these wider bodied bits - wfs ones tend to be rather longer-looking.
