Nice to this thread still running after my long absence (see news forum for what is happening) but I am back to long days working on the sites.

As to Selkirk frames glass coming from Italy, no big deal it is still a Scottish end product.

Interesting, but still Selkirk for me, and unusual to boot.  Can't be bad for £2.60 and fills an unknown gap in my selkirk collection :)

Wuff, could you email me Peter's email address, I have something I need to ask him and don't have it!

cheers
Ian

I can't believe I was the only bidder on this this paperweight

Maybe because the seller did not say it's a marbrie.   But still, seems a bargain to me.

Went to Newbury racecourse fair today and brought these 3 bits.

Unusual shape Mdina piece, Val St Lambert owl which is just great and an early Okra vase dated 1984 and numbered 279.  Total outlay £47.50 :)

I purchased this Monart perfume bottle recently for a rock bottom price of £1.21. There is damage to it, 2 cracks to neck and stopper stuck but displays nicely. I think the canes are Salvadors rather than Paul's but if some one knows different, please let me know.

Yes, those canes are seen quite regularly in Ysart Brothers period work and very infrequently (if at all) in Paul's, so personally I classify them as Salvador canes.

I am one happy bunny considering the amount the last selkirk pansy basket weight went for!

I got this rather nice piece in the last few days. You don't often see these more than 3 inch diameter, but this one is! And I think there are 9 roses.
