Hello, i have this cased smokey brown cylinder vase with two applied hoops, any ideas? 9 inch tall weighs 720grmms.

Caithness, probably designed by Domhnall Obroin in the mid 1960s. Info from 20th Century British Glass by Charles Hajdamach.

One of Domhnall's favourite designs from 1961. Probably got the idea from his teacher Miroslav Havel, who in turn got the idea from antique Waterford decanters. Named Ring vases.
