I think this is a Strathearn scatterd canes on muslin - a bit different from previous buy last week - 3" diam so larger and muslin or lace is less subtle, colour of canes more muted - what period were these made in and I am interested in differences.

I cannot answer your specific question on this weight but can recommend (if you do not already know about it) Richard More's website on Strathearn paperweights (see link below). It carries a comprehensive listing of Strathearn weights with accompanying descriptors and date ranges and I find it invaluable.
