Hi, this P/W has a central cane marked with a P with canes on a blue base which has a polished and ground pontil mark and would appreciate any information on maker and date. 1.625 inches dia x 1 inch tall

Hi there,

Here, I think that p stands for Perthshire. From your pictures, I would say that it is a standard Perthshire weight - I would suggest a PP53.

Hi Malcom,

If it is a PP53, this model was in production between 1982-1995.
