So many release dates have been talked about for the last few years that I don't pay attention anymore. I think the first release date was back in the Paleocene, right? I've bought the book twice and had to be refunded. I'm rather gun shy about it now.

To all, I am pleased to confirm the presentation of my publication "Seguso Vetri D'Arte 1932-1973" this Autumn in Venice. Delays were caused by the huge quantity of the material which had to be digitalized. And once that was done, the resulting TB's on 6 hard disks were not exactly the easiest thing to manipulate. But it is done. The book will situate Murano in the early twentieth century, explaining its difficulties and how those were countered by the Italian government. An in depth companies history, which illuminates the very close relationship between Seguso Vetri D'Arte and the Zecchin-Martinuzzi, an extraction of 1300 drawings and period photographs showing the most relevant models out their 15.000 items, a scientific  analise of the archive, a large section of about 200 objects in color, an extensive exhibition list with the actual novelties exhibits, the labels/signatures and a list allowing the dating of each model/technique/color combination.  I truly believe it was well worth waiting for. But than again, that's up to you to Judge....   Regards to all, Marc Heiremans.  PS in case of further questions, do not hesitate to contact me.

This is such good news, Marc. Do you know when and where it will be on sale? I have tried to order several times before, but of course, the book was not available. It will be good to get the work in my hands. Your books are the ones I use most in my library. You research your topics so well.

Wonderful Marc sounds like a dizzy step up from your normal outstanding work.

Now for the next project, which naturally leads on from this one, Archimede Seguso?

I just pre-ordered the book at (Don't order yet! Read below) http://www.bookdepository.com/Seguso-Vetri-DArte-Marc-Heiremans/9783897901629. I'm not easily excited, and I know it is probably going to be a while, but I can't wait. I have been hoping for this book for a while now. I do hope that it is the correct order this time.

Oops -- it may be the wrong order again. The title is different than the one Marc gave. Canceling my order. I probably hold the world's record for the number of times trying to buy a publication. :)
