(?) Hand-blown + Molded = Unknown, Kinda Murano Looking Bowl ??
« on: October 28, 2011, 04:10:07 AM »
 :hi:

I really have no idea where to start with this one.  Looks like it was hand-worked, and also pressed into a mold.   Kinda reminds me of some Murano Art Glass, but then it could be anything.  Maybe just an art glass piece.  I have no idea where to look.  It is a olive green color, with some folded sides.  It is 9 inches long, 6 inches wide...and about 3.5 inches tall at the highest point.  The base is polished and does show wear, so it has to have some age to it.

Did Murano ever do something at all like this....just wondering

Help!!  This bowl is really unknown to me!  Any info, maker, or date would be greatly appreciated!   :kissy:

My gut says you have a piece of American glass.
