Here are some photos of a blue set which I think is in the same pattern – it shows lidded pots in two sizes and a very distinctive tray.

Although they don’t show up terribly well in the photos, I can confirm that the decorative panels on the tray and pots alternate between stippled and plain.

Just discovered this photo of a pink tray and lidded pots lurking in the depths of my reference files.

Your pot is certainly part of a trinket set. It appears on Anne's Glass Trinket Sets site as Mystery #72 - see:

The manufacturer would, therefore, appear to be still unknown.

There are photos of a [possibly complete] set in blue glass and a part set in pink glass, but your pot is the first piece from the set that I can recall having seen in amber glass.

I suspect that the pattern dates from some time between the mid-1930s and the mid-1950s, though I have no definitive catalogue evidence to prove it.

I don't think it's similar enough Angela.  The leaf shapes are but the lack of other lines on Schwepnitz Maria would bother me.
