MERITOR Bohemian glass lidded trinket pots.
« on: April 01, 2013, 12:55:07 PM »
Two similar lidded trinket pots, 4 inches high x 3 inches diameter, one in green uranium glass and the other in pale blue glass. Both bear a printed silver foil label proclaiming “MERITOR | GENUINE BOHEMIAN GLASS | CZECHOSLOVAKIAN”.

(Permission for the images of the green uranium pot granted by cynthia2o11, and the pale blue pot by habit1212).

I can’t recall seeing anything else with a similar label, or any other pieces attributed to Meritor.

Does anyone have more details about Meritor, or photos of other pieces to share, please?

Now photos of another design of pot (in pink glass) bearing the same Meritor label.

(Permission for the re-use of these photos on the GMB granted by chayden-trading).

Incidentally, this is from Anne’s GTS Mystery set 29 (and I attach a couple of photos of sets showing other pieces from the set for reference).

As soon as I can find my original GMB posts re. Mystery Set 29 I will add reciprocal links.

Any more info regarding Meritor yet?

Fred.

Sounds like a brand rather than a manufacturer, so it could be a wholesaler
