re: Japanese glass

Hello All,
Just thought I'd share some marked Japanese glass.

The first is a gorgeous glossy red which intensifies towards the bottom, 6" H and about 8" across widest point.  It is labelled "Sugahara craft glass of Japan"

The center striped vase I found years after the other two.  It is more crudely made, and is etched on the bottom of the foot "made in Japan"

The left and right striped vases were bought as a pair and are nicely made, cased with a white interior and attached black foot.  They are marked to the bottom with an impressed "made in Japan'  (last picture).

Enjoy,  Adair
