I'd say it is Czech, but not Chribska... could be Borocrystal or Karlovarské sklo.  Hopefully, someone will be of more help.  :hi:

I have this piece somewhere, I was always under the impression it was Chribska but I have not seen "proof." Quite a nice thing really.

My gut was telling me not Chribska because of the salmon-pink colour.
Must have misread signs of indigestion... silly me. ;D

My feelings would go towards Mstisov instead of Chribska, but that's a gut feeling based on style and colour, not any provable knowledge.

:ooh:Just throwing this into the pot- purchased ages ago and my notations have a possible Czech connection-similar to chriscooper's item. Height 5.5cm width 17cm citrine coloured glass fading to pale peach, ground and polished base.
Does it or does it not muddy the waters????
regards Carol

Hi Carol  :)... I'd say your bowl/ashtray is Czech.  There is a similar one in the 1999 Chribska catalogue on Jindrich's site, in a different colourway: here

Chris, I thought Chribska did not make pieces in salmon -- but I was very wrong.  In the same link, you can see items which are the same colour as yours.  I apologise for the confusion.

Looks like later Chribska to me.  I don't think Mstisov made anything with such strong colours until they were moved to Karlovarske Sklo.
