question about Whitefriars drunken bricklayer colour and shape
« on: November 03, 2011, 11:29:50 PM »
hi all

I've been looking over ending prices of bricklayers on ebay and Im wondering about something which to my untrained eye seems to be an anomaly.

This is what I would consider to be a standard kingfisher blue vase:

so now Im wondering why this one achieves so much more.  Is what the seller says about squareness etc true? Or is it actually not a kingfisher vase?

thanks all.

It achieved more because it looks like a different form of blue (Royal Blue) although the people at Whitefriars.com seem to have decided that it is just an unusual pot of Kingfisher Blue.

More details here in their discussion of the same listing. http://www.whitefriars.com/bb_orig/viewtopic.php?t=4570
