Identifying Vase marked Muller Freres Luneville
« on: March 04, 2006, 06:30:48 PM »
I wonder if someone could help us with the correct identification of a vase we have acquired which is marked Muller Freres Luneville.

We strongly suspect it is a modern copy but would just like to know for sure.

The vase is 14 inches tall with brown overlay of glass on a blue glass base with white clouds etched on the inside of the vase.  The base is brown glass and flat no real pontil in evidence.

Signature on the side of the vase reads Muller Freres Luneville picture attached.

If anyone out there can help us with this one we would be grateful.

Carol
