Fair. There are much better ones being made and mostly made to be used, but certainly not as cheap as that one. Normal price is from around 50 pounds to a couple of hundred. Can be found in Amsterdam but mostly in the US. US one are more extravagant with coloured threads or even millefiori - for the paperweight folks.

Umm...I know I wish I'd bid more now.  It doesn't pay to be tight when wanting a big hand.   :P

I've actually seen some quite attractive glass penises before. Um... in their own special way. Ones with twisted bubble... stems. And controlled bubble... bases.

And I think they were intended for use... by more enthusiastic glass lovers, I suspect.

"There are more things in Heaven and Earth Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy!"

Is it difficult to differentiate between an authentic one and a modern reproduction?

Ahh, the possibilities for continuing lines on a Sunday night after a few wines!

(Have also, between us, enjoyed a lovely 1.5 litre bottle of "Grolsch" beer, with a pair of glasses - my glass buy of the weekend, and surely a collectors item as a water bottle for some long luches during the continuing very pleasant weather in Oz!)
