Murano? paperweight bottle ID help needed
« on: November 11, 2011, 07:08:02 PM »
I recently acquired this paperweight bottle.  My thinking is that it is Murano.  The base of the bottle is flat and polished.  No identifying marks. The body is a translucent opalescent blue. The flower canes remind me of Murano I have seen but can't remember when.  Stands 11 1/4" tall.  Base is 3 9/16" diameter. Looking for ID confirmation and possible age.

Wow,  what a lovely decanter.  This canes do look Murano but I can't even think where to begin figuring out from where it may have been made.
