Pattern name for this Stuart Crystal Decanter
« on: November 12, 2011, 01:06:19 PM »
Recently got this Stuart Decanter of Ebay for a nice price.  I thought it was a Shaftesbury pattern - however it is not.  It is the same shape as the Shaftesbury Wine Decanter(shown in Replacements Ltd), it has the same treatment of the neck, it has those diamonds with the grooves in the middle so it look like a form of hobnail, BUT there are too many rows of diamonds, And there are no vertical cuts above the diamonds.  :spls:

So I am assuming it is a separate pattern and am hoping someone knows the correct name.   :)

Gentle BUMP!

Does anyone know where I might be able to see modern Stuart Crystal catalogues?  I could then try looking it up myself!

Just thinking Ross, flyboy90 was selling digital copies of one in Market Place a while ago:
http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php?action=profile;u=4944 might be worth dropping him a line?
