Julia Donnelly
« on: November 13, 2011, 05:11:00 AM »
We have come across several pieces by the British glass artist Julia Donnelly for sale in Australia recently. These include the paperweight in the pictures below, a vase offered ebay.au a couple of months ago, and another paperweight seen in an 'antiques' shop on the Gold Coast (Queensland, that is) last January. We also recall seeing something else a year or two earlier, but the details are eluding us.

Maybe it is just a coincidence that these items have been found far from home, but the similarity of date marked on them begs the question: Did Julia Donnelly work in Australia for a period in 1993? If so, where?
