Hi, this paperweight has the whitefriars monk cane but no date cane
does anyone have any idea of pattern/design and date year

will be a caithness piece, most likely to be a Alan scott piece, sorry no idea on the date or the design

I have asked Allan Scott about the weight - and he confirms my assumption: not his work, most likely a trial piece by one of his assistants (and not a production piece). At least I don't find any Caithness weight in my sources with "butterfly" in the name and not completely different.
