Another punt at the oppie but based on
a. the clarity of the glass or they say crystal
b. the ping sound that would make a conductor weep it is so clear
c. the ? acid etched pattern
d. they have a decent weight.

Have I bought something of quality and retro or have I bought IKea 2011

Any ideas of the maker too.  thanks

A picture of a single dish side on against a plain dark background would help

Dear Glass helpers
you have before you a very embarrassed and red faced idiot.  When I bought them I looked at the base. I  couldn't see a thing. I decided to look at them again tonight with my glasses on.  It says Stuart England. Oh what a fool I feel.  Many apologies :spls:.

Funny thing , i was going to say take another look but didnt want to offend you , it often happens with Stuart marks , you just have to catch them in the right light . voila .

the tricky thing was that I usually feel for the marks as in holmegaard etc, but I felt nothing and didnt have the reading specs on.  And please state the bleeding obvious I will not be offended.  I go on our local ebay board and people say whats this and the first thing I say is have you googled it.  And the answer is no. I guess like a lot of people here I get stuck and then ask,.   :phew:
