Hi.  I found this glass block thing at a resale shop.  There were a few others like it.  One had two birds on the order of an emu, two with bull heads, and another with a man's head wearing a goatee.  The bull heads were in cobalt blue and the man's head was in a slate blue color.  And then, of course, this one.  The colors seem odd to me for Boda and Hoglund's other thick glass pieces.  This one measures 6" inches square.  Perhaps, someone has seen these in this color.  Thanks for any help in advance.

Not one I have seen before, it looks more regular and moulded than I associate with Boda and Hoglund, possibly pressed.

Were the other blocks like this with a groove around the edge, same size?

John

Yes, they were all the same size and with the groove around the edge. I don't think the are American. None of the companies I'm most familiar with did not use these colors. I'm inclined to say that they may be Spanish.

Perhaps part of a light fitting?

I don't believe so. Much too heavy I think. I thought they are more like light catchers to sit on a sill.

Sorry cannot locate the recent discussion on this very similar item - but it seems to be from the same stable? Your numbering looks a bit Boda to me.

Hmmmm.  They other blocks I saw were numbered too.  Oddly, the link to the above glass piece doesn't seem similar.

The link was for Ivo, as he said he couldn't locate the thread.
