Just read the whole name  "Hadeland" is not "Made in England" it comes from Norway and as far as I know they are still in business.

Hi Kitty Kat, nice to see you again!!

Hadeland is lovely glass....I adore and collect it...every piece I have is precious...so don't dismiss its value.  They have the knack of making the most wonderfully expressive pieces of glass with the minimum of fuss.....if you ever want to sell it....let me know please.

Hope you had a lovely Christmas, and best wishes for 2012.

Rosie.  :)

I'm with you all the way there Kat, they do feel lovely and are sometimes referred to as 'hand coolers'.
Now have a look at the Steuben pieces and drool!!  They are lovely and like your seal pup,  very simply styled.....but oh so expensive!

So it looks as though I will have to find my own one then.

Happy New Year then....you realise you will now be hooked on glass animal collecting!!!!!!!!
