50.
It started with his wife's 50th birthday weight. Each one has a different number of bats, 50 down to 1. 50 weights in total. He hated making them!

I make that 1,275 bats!  :o No wonder Willie hated it!

I think I saw the birthday weight - it was gorgeous.

:sun: I saw it too. I had a long chat with him at the time, which is how I know he hated doing these in particular.

I have the #4 and it's black in color and with the same cane placement, could the color in this eBay sale be due to lighting?

I'm not sure i'm following this bat thread.

I have a Willie Manson batcave, black surround with just two bats.  It was made in 1999 and is numbered 81/100.  How does that fit with the idea of each of 50 weighshaving a different number of bats?

Cheers

Hi,
Just a small clarification of the situation regarding John Deacons and I working together again. John occasionally asks for some lampwork from me, which I am happy to do for him, but the layout of the lampwork and design of the weights are all down to him. As for the pedestal weights he has on e.bay, I designed some weights for myself and got them made in return for my work. I have these weights myself so I presume John quite liked my Idea and has made some of his own with some of the flowers I made for him. Unless the weights have my "A" cane in them then I have had little to do with the final design so the weights are really just John's weights.I hope this information is of some use and interest to everyone.
