Steuben?? Cameo ACB Pink Pagoda Lamp. ID = Confirmed Steuben
« on: January 28, 2012, 10:59:12 PM »
I have had this lamp a long time. Bought this many years ago and the lamp was disassembled. Obviously, this is the glass base.  It is thick and very heavy. A friend told me this might be Steuben but was unsure as am I.  I have scoured the internet and have found some similar pieces in style but nothing quite like it. I guess I'd like to eventually put the lamp back together and sell it but depending on manufacturer and value depends on where it goes on my to-do list. LOL.

Here is a similar lamp I found on a Steuben board:
http://www.cardersteubenclub.org/shapes/item-view.cfm?category=ShapeIndex&recordID=21522&back=1

But similar isn't enough obviously. 10  inches tall. Pink is the outer color and goes to white. Asian pagoda theme.  Any thoughts??...

My apologies.  I am new to the board and did not see the 'no inquiries' message.

Yeah....looks like you may have hit the lottery. Looks as if it could be Rosealine over alabaster. Thats a major league hit.

Hello

My first suggestion would be to use the "contact us" email on that Carder Steuben website and submit a query with higher resolution photos.  If you do, please let us know their answer.

Hi and welcome to the board  :)
Enquiries are very welcome here, so please ask away.  If we can help we will, but sometimes it takes a little while as members aren't all around at the same time, so do keep an eye on the thread or on your emails to watch for a response.

Thanks. It is Steuben. The etching is Pagoda.  It is Rosaline over alabaster.  And it is shape 5009 without handles.

Congratulations! Super quality item.

And one of the quickest confirmations I have seen in a while.
I have therefore moved the thread back to this USA forum.
