Pink and white petals?
« on: January 25, 2012, 04:23:52 AM »
I'm not sure what these are, they look sort of like petals, or cross-sectional slices of some kind of candy  :hiclp:
It's only 2" tall, 2 7/8" at it's widest point and the base is 1 1/2".

Japanese first half of 20th century. The decoration inside is what could be called a scrambled millefiori.

Agreed - Japanese. These often have multi-coloured cane slices in them, and you do find them with a 'Made in Japan' sticker occasionally.

Thank you Alexander and Alan!

I'm including a couple of shots of the base in case they prove useful.
