« on: January 25, 2012, 07:22:31 AM »
I just found these 2 huge paerweights - are they dumps? Any ideas of the makers?
The first one is pale green glass with what looks like a sea urchin inside - darker green bubble glass It has a convex top & base
The second is a huge silvered bubble inside clear wih black trails. has a dimple on the top & a convex base. No ide of age & I don't really care if they came from Matalan!!! I love them, it would just be nice to attribute them if possible.

How huge is huge?  Better we have actual measurements.  What diameter - the widest size?  What height to the top?

The first looks a little like a Whitefriars weight, the second has a well finished pontil and I am surprised there are no markings on it.
