pinstripe swirl paperweight facet window - Scandinavian?
« on: January 30, 2012, 06:57:21 PM »
Hi all you paperweight lovers. Crossing over from the world of 'other glass' for a change.

I have this paperweight that has been on my shelf for over a year. Not been able to find anything similar but have a hunch it might be Orrefors(?) All I know is that it has some age judging by the wear on the base (photo 3).
There is a faceted 'window' on the top (photo 1) set at a slight angle (photo 2).

The 'swirl' on consists of black and white glass. The body is greenish/yellow to the base and pink-clear towards the top.

Any help attributing a maker would be fantastic, or any other information is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
