Abstract Cactus-Shaped Salviati Vase
« on: February 02, 2012, 02:36:49 AM »
Picked this strange piece up recently - a tall vase of light blue cased in clear glass with cactus-like protrusions on the side topped off with balls of dark green glass, with an applied rim in the same colour.

Signed to the base for Salviati in a style that's the same as an Heinz Oestergaard sculpture I have from 1985, so I assume it's from around the same period.

Any idea of designer, or if my date is about right?

Many thanks for looking.
