Topic: Whitefriars or Murano?

I have got this small Paperweight.
I will vote for whitefriars, not for Murano, but I am not sure.
And: how old is the weight?
About 1960s ?

Cane colours and structure, and the Weight's profile remind me of some early- or mid-C20th English makers.  Perhaps one of the Board's cane buffs can shed some light on this possibility.

I have had a good look at my images of Arculus, Walsh Walsh, Richardson, and unknown Old English paperweights, and don't see any canes that resemble these.  However, I do have a paperweight that has canes in the outer ring very like the green one in the close-up image, and with canes of the same style as the ones with the solid white centres (see below - open the link and you can compare the images side by side on screen).

Curiously, that was made by Whitefriars (signed / dated / labelled)....so whoever made Lothar's paperweight, I think there may well be Whitefriars canes in it. Of course, the presence of Whitefriars canes in a paperweight does not mean that Whitefriars made it - I have 3 paperweights with Whitefriars canes, but made by others.
