Pictures of another Victorian pressed glass item embellished with contemporary metalware  (presumably as sold and displayed). A clear pressed glass oval dish by Percival Vickers & Co. , 50mm tall, and 126x90mm. Star design base, with very shallow plain foot. Sides patterned as square and diagonal cuts in imitation of cut glass. Rd. No. 268968 (allocated 13 Jan 1896) raised on interior base.

This particular example has an ornately-patterned, electroplated lid and base plate (impressed EPNS, but no additional maker’s marks).

I’m happy for anyone to use the images for research or for websites, and I can also let you have them in much higher quality with pleasure.

Seems that only the image of the glassware has posted, so am trying again with the metalware.
