I was researching my pink paperweight and came across this millefiori fish

http://www.trocadero.com/moltabellaglass/items/500324/item500324.html

It is attributed to Fratelli Toso.  The millefiore fish that was with my basket was similar in shape and pose.  But as you can see the canes in my basket (and what I remember of the fish) were not nearly as intricate as the Toso piece.

I am guessing that the basket and fish were later pieces made in the style of early Toso pieces??  The combination of the satin glass with the canes is somewhat unusual.
