Topic: A Few Questions About Bohemian Glass/Crystal

Hey everybody, I was browsing the web and I came across the thread where it was stated that the Crystalex factory in Novy Bor closed down.

I have been researching certain Bohemian vases recently, and I was wondering if anyone here could enlighten me on the details/availability of these items.

The items I am interested in learning about are vases for narghiles (aka hookahs, nargiles, or shishas). I have seen several of these vases before, and I personally own two:

Egermann(light blue with gold/silver paint & frosting)
BJ Glassworks in Kamenicky Senov (dark blue with silver paint & frosting)

I was wondering what the proper name for these vases would be. Also, I have heard about several terms, which I am not entirely sure of. Some of these terms are:

Nizbor - I have seen it used to describe a style, and I know it is /was once a glass factory
Montego - I have seen this refer to the shape of a vase. I learned that my Egermann vase pictured above is of this shape (or similar to).
Jumbo - I have seen this refer to the shape of the BJ-Glassworks vase I posted above
Egyptian Bell- another vase shape, this can be seen in the video posted at the end of this post.

One more thing, if anybody has any information relating to these vases, I would be happy to learn
From my understanding, these are pretty rare, but I would like to have some more because they are so stunning.

Hi and welcome to the board.  I'm afraid I can't help with your queries but if you keep checking back someone may come along who is better placed to help    Have you searched the board to see if there have been any similar thread?  I vaguely remember someone posting about one of these not that long ago.
