No-one likes general adverts, and ours hadn't been updated for ages, so we're having a clear-out and a change round to make the new ones useful to you. These new adverts bring in a small amount to help pay for the board and keep it free for you to use, so please do use them whenever you can, Let our links help you find great books on glass or a new piece for your collection. Thank you for supporting the Board.

Opal Open
« on: February 25, 2012, 07:21:00 PM »
We cornered the market on Opal Open, early, late, small, large, even one milkglass. We would like to contribute pictures (we haven't taken yet) to a research project. Also would like to get rid of most of them and other old Northwood pieces. We also have the baskets that look like they are from the same form and one carnival glass one that we want to keep. Hate to sell them one by one before someone catalogs them for a museum or a book.

Hi mslovjoy and welcome to the board. Your collection sounds interesting. We do have a separate gallery (a part of the board but needing a separate signup/login as it's hosted on a different server) which you are very welcome to use to catalogue your pieces into. It's here: http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/ and has a full help file / walk through to get you started: http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/glassgallery_help.html but do give me a shout if you get stuck with using either the gallery or the board.
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd
