With Anne's very kind help in posting pics for me, I wonder if anyone could direct me on where to look for information on the maker of this bowl please?  any help very much appreciated.
I have had it a long time, and although my leaning is more contemporary glass, I fell in love with it.
It's pressed and it appears to be in 4 parts? Please excuse my terminology ;D
Incredibly pretty with a banding of matt (satinized?) flowers (anemones?)and leaves around it.
thank you for any ideas on where to look.
Oh I have been through Pamela's wonderful site with a fine tooth comb - I found some other pieces I have but not this one - thank you Pamela.

just a gentle bump for my fruit bowl  :)  I haven't got it to hand but at a guess it's about 8" tall by 8" diameter so quite large and very heavy probably weighing around 3lb or 1.5 kg.
Just hoping someone may recognise the pattern perhaps and thank you for looking.

bump
The foot is polished flat round the rim and bevelled so has the stem and foot been hand applied/finished?.  Also against the black, whilst you can't see it just by looking at it, the stem looks a slightly clearer colour than the bowl I realised.  I'll upload some more pics in a mo and if anyone recognises it I'd be grateful  :)
thanks

Hi Pamela :) thank you for looking and for your suggestion.  I will have a look at American Glass although I know absolutely nothing about it  :-\
The poinsettia suggestion is very apt as I use this bowl only at Christmas.
many thanks

I've come across a bowl with roses in a satin band round the bowl.  I see it id'd as Hoffman.  It reminds me quite a lot of my footed bowl.

Could my bowl be Hoffman?  And also, I do wonder why the foot is a much clearer glass than the bowl.  I'm certain someone didn't stick the foot on later  :D,

Lovely bowl M, I have found the eBay listed Hoffman bowl in the 1933/1934 Catalogue on Glas Musterbuch here;

http://www.glas-musterbuch.de/Hoffmann-1933-34.25+B6YmFja1BJRD0yNSZwcm9kdWN0SUQ9NTc5JmRldGFpbD0_.0.html

There is also another Hoffman current listing

Sorry I can't help more with your bowl.

Thank you for the links and for trying to help Jayne.
It was a long shot but there just seemed to be some similarities, however I've gone through the links and unfortunately nothing more.
Perhaps it will turn up some day :)
Do you have any views on the colour of the foot v the colour of the bowl?
thanks

I don't think I've seen this piece before, m, sorrry.
I can't help with id, but isn't it more of a punch bowl than a fruit bowl  ???

Sue thanks for looking.  And thanks for the suggestion.  It could be a punch bowl though it's not enormously big but the shape looks good though.
I will use that to do some more searching :0 thanks!
