Fortuitous buy of Ebay - Cenedese doves
« on: March 19, 2012, 11:46:55 AM »
The seller of this delightful pair had them advertised as pickup only - lucky for me as I live only about 3 Kms away.  She said that her first husband and herself had bought them in Murano many years ago and that the person in the shop signed them and wanted to put their names on as well - but they declined.  Dove#1 is 27cms long and weighs 1.393 kgs, dove #2 is just over 26cms long and weighs 1.425kgs.

Ross

PS>    Anita, if you think they are genuine and want higher resolution photos for your Murano Zoo just email me and I will be happy to oblige.

Ross, they will be great for the zoo. I don't need higher resolution, so no worries. The pictures I use in the zoo are lower resolution so the pages will load in a reasonable amount of time. I would like to put your name. If you will email me your last name, I'll be sure to credit the pictures.

I am so jealous of the birds. Just gorgeous.

Ross, your birds are in the zoo now at http://sites.google.com/site/muranozoo/birds-7. Thank you for letting me put them in. I didn't have your last name, so I just put Ross of the GMB. If you see any changes you want to make, just let me know.
