I've added another to the set - this one is unmarked but I've seen one on the net marked with Dermay imprinted on the base (possibly the same marking as Rapunzel) and with a sticker old foil, saying Taussant.
Large and very heavy, the inset base of this box is curved rather than flat.  Very nicely made.
I probably should start a separate thread for it  ::)

thanks Anne :) he's known as the Jester I think.
Actually perhaps he's better off left here as part of the 'Dermay' set?

For now at least, yes I agree, M. Dermay and Taussant are connected, but I don't pretend to know how (yet!) as I've not looked into much of the American trinket set info as yet.

Thanks Jayne :)
Anne, there is very little information on these Dermay or Taussant boxes even on the US sites.
But I will try and link a thread here if I can find it, where James Measell also gives a snippet of further information I think.

Thanks M! I have a couple of reference pics of Taussant and Dermay items, but nothing usable on the GTS website as yet, so any info would be welcome.

grr, I cannot find something I found yesterday... I'm sure whatever I'd read James Measell had made reference to Wrisley.  On chatabout there is reference that one lidded box (Sphynx) is found with both Dermay labels and has been found with 'Wrisley Quality' label.
I have absolutely no idea who Wrisley are btw.
I will keep looking.
Ah found it...

I've added another in pink - a double glass box with a figure of a boy hugging a dog on top, marked Dermay 5th avenue.  It's not arrived yet but looks like this one - apparently called 'Puppy Love'

Site here with many of these items
