Nice Sommerso vase in "classic" colourway -- bluish purple / pinkish red / cased in colourless glass.
Height 20 cm, flat polished base, rim cut and polished with bevelled edge (outside and inside).
Pieces in this colourway seem to be either by Archimede Seguso (like
this one on Wayne's site, and one in Pina's book), or attributed to Flavio Poli for Seguso Vetri d'Arte (like the pieces
here,
here and
here).
No idea if there are other makers as well who used this colourway.
Does the shape give any clues?
Thanks for any help,
Michael
