Something new from Mike Hunter of Twists Glass

This morning at Woking Glass Fair we picked up this new weight by Mike Hunter of Twists Glass.

It's a Torsade weight, commissioned by Brian Slater of Just Glass.
Brian apparently asked Mike if he would try to put the twists he uses in his famous wine glass stems into a paperweight, and this is what Mike came up with!
Stunning, isn't it?

Hi Leni
Interested to see your Mike Hunter weight. I visited him and Sue last week and came away with four very unusual paperweights you won't have seen the like of before. Here is a picture of a Tri-Lattice weight - what do you think of this ?
