mats jonasson moth paperweight???
« on: April 03, 2012, 10:42:35 PM »
Hi All,
could anyone please help me confirm the designer of a beautiful paperweight.... i've searched the web and only info i could find was a reference to one in post on this forum from 2008! it is described as a MJ but as a kosta product, maybe im being misled by the box it is in (it is a Royal Krona box - item ID on the box is actually for the Grey Plover 99162-6)
the piece has a royal krona sticker and marked rk99172-6 mj(sweden?)
Is Kosta Royal Krona? any ideas of the age of the piece?
hopefully i've uploaded a pic correcty, if not it is of a moth and two leaves
thanks in advance
J x

Thank you! thats interesting (and slightly heavy!) reading.  So its pre '77 then? do you think its definately a mats jonasson? still find it odd that i cant find another one anywhere.  Would like to sell but want to make sure i'm describing it correctly! x
