ID help. Bohemian?
« on: April 07, 2012, 02:49:24 PM »
Hi everyone.

I've got this paperweight. Could it be  Bohemian, first  half 20th  century?

Best regards.

Marcos.

Hi Marcos

I would agree it is probably 'Bohemian', meaning from the Czech Republic.  If it was made before WW1, then it is fair to call it Bohemian. If after, then it should be called Czech! It is not easy to date these pieces because the same general styles have beeen made for a long time.
