Is this really a perthshire and if so what type?
« on: April 12, 2012, 03:30:10 PM »
Hi,   I have no knowledge of Perthshire paperweights but picked up this small (50mm diameter sphere) as part of a job lot. It has a Perthshire label to the base as shown in the second photo attached.

Can anyone confirm that this is indeed Perthshire and if so, what type designation it might have.

Thanks

Yes - Perthshire did make such items: no design number, just referred to as "marbles" - despite the fact that they have a flattened base.
