I am thinking bohemian? anyone know for sure? it could also be american. it's got a polished pontil. Anyone know this piece?

I just got this off ebay too. the listing had it as a finger candle stick. I've never heard of anything like that before. it looks more like a bud vase to me. do you think it was a candle stick? it kind of does have that look to the handle.
