Unknown sticker question
« on: March 23, 2006, 06:48:37 AM »
Hi All,

I own a bowl from Murano with an unknown manufacturers label, see the link below. I screened the web very carefully but could not find any information. There are two vases at ebay with this label, one says Seguso (as usual, but not true), the other says maybe Formia.

Any suggestions?

Thanks and regards,
Stefan

PS. Sorry for linking to an other forum, but I have no other chance for getting the image to the web. This question here is quite important for me.

No, it's captured from an ebay offer. The label is identical with the one on my bowl.

Regards,
Stefan

Hi

If I take you right (ref pic)

The label is for 'Ferro & Lazzarini' of Murano

I don't know the story behind worded and non worded versions - the give away is the triangular shape and the gondola logo - information is available on the net about this well known company.

Here is a worded version label on a paperweight

Thanks
