Hi

I've read a lot about fake Paul Ysart paperweights.  Can anyone shed light on the likely authenticity of this paperweight please. All help gratefully received.

Hi

Are you able to upload some larger images?  That would help with ID.

Welcome to the board. If you resize a high-res image so that the maximum dimension is about 700 pixels you should be OK. The 125kb limit is per file, not total. A base shot, a top view and a picture of the leaflet would be good too.

I have never seen or heard of any fake py weights with the "Fountain" design.

Even though the images (so far) are rather small, it does look like a typical 1970s version of the Fountain design. Perhaps the only real problem would be if a Willie Manson version (from his independent years) ends up in a PY box with card.

Thanks everyone for your replies.  Hopefully the two photos now attached will give you a better view. I've spotted the item for sale but these are the only two images I currently have.  Could any of you hazard a guess at what would be a fair asking priced, provided it's genuine?
