Who made my polar bear? - ID = Altaglass, Canada
« on: May 07, 2012, 11:11:28 AM »
This polar bear is around 15cms tall.  The base is slightly recessed and has the initials AG inside a diamond - all in raised dots.  The surface of the bear is not smooth - indeed it has a sort of 'clinginess" due to its roughness.

Hi Ross,

While looking for information about my duck bowl, I came across the mark found on your polar bear.  It's Altaglass.  See here: http://altaglass.ca/content/view/21/34/

Thank you so much Anik I would never have picked Canada - which is dumb because so much footage of them comes from there or Alaska.
