But soon after my book was published, this same vase fetched £215... see p.214, where the angle of the label in the photo looks remarkably the same.

They really are very impressive. This looks to be the 7-in (18cm) tall one, but the 5½-in (14cm) tall ones are even scarcer.

The rectangular one with 'ribbed' design is of particular interest, although I now think I have every design to include in Chance Additions. But keep looking!

eeek, no wonder my ears were burning. Odd feeling, being mentioned in dispatches. I too love chance glass much to my parent's disgust who brought me up to appreciate good victorian cut glass lol.
