Brand newbie here with plea for help with identification. Small pink mottled vase with very clear mark on bottom consisting of three lions. I thought it would be a doddle finding maker on web.......4 hours later all I've gained is cramp !

Hi,

It sounds as though it could possibly be Guernsey Glass from your description but I can't find an example at the moment.

Hope this helps,
Pkay.

Fantastic.......thanks  for the info.  Guernsey sounds good to me !  Much impressed by this result, I'm off to rummage ( gently ) through my hoard of obscurities to find more unidentified items ........ I'm on a roll !  :D

I KNEW I had a photo of the logo somewhere and finally managed to find it.

I have this in a much higher resolution if anyone needs it, as well as the item it was found on, but it is always a devil to photo. I seem to remember taking a photo of another item some time ago, but will really need to rummage around for that one...

I no longer have either piece, so this is as good as it gets.

I'd agree, Island Glass Studio, in Guernsey.
Pink, mottled, pontil stamp,  all very positive id.
Is the rim of the vase "frilly"?
