Ichendorf pair can you date?
« on: May 17, 2012, 07:42:47 PM »
Nice pair picked up today but not much info about Ichendorf I can find online.

I wonder when these were made? My guess is late '60s or '70s but I would think the plastic stickers might make it a bit later?

Searching the board this came up: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,2933.msg22577.html#msg22577

Seems these have nothing to do with the German company -- according to Ivo contemporary Italian glass 8)

Salviati do some similar glass now.
The modern Ichandorf only seem to do glassware not decorative glass?
Could these be 1960s? - Before the German company went under?

There is now a Ichendorfer Glasmuseum - they have all the old catalogues, and are willing to help identify Ichendorf glass.
