Caithness Moon info required
« on: May 23, 2012, 08:07:26 PM »
I brought this at the Ally Pally fair a couple of weeks back adn can't find any info.  Enscribed Caithness Glass Moon Master Sample to base and signed by Sarah Peterson.  The only info I can find is it went through fieldings glass sale a little while ago.

At fiirst I thought/hoped it was Peter Holmes as it is very similar to his sculptures, but wasnt.  Had to have it anyway at £65.

Obviously it's the/a master sample, but did it ever get put into production?

Wuff, blanket permission applies :)

Ian

I think if it's signed Sarah Peterson, then she's your designer and probably maker

According to Bruce Walker (engraver) with whom I had a lovely long conversation a few months ago, Sarah Peterson is practically holding Caithness together single-handedly at the moment - as far as design is concerned. His admiration for her was palpable!
